Ortiz-Adarmes Finally got to go out! This time I picked the 20 cent Bridge in Sewall Point, Florida. I fished the west bank of the river, with no luck! Then decided to fish under the west side bridge. There, I was hoping for a drum, but caught a 13" Mangrove Snapper on dead shrimp instead. Shortly after, I moved to under the center portion of the bridge, but the current was too strong for my 3 pound anchor. Then fished the east side bridge with negative results. On my way back to the ramp, I trolled a Storm Swim Bait and hooked a small Jack, and a couple of small Blue Runners. It was a nice relaxing day, and I enjoyed every minute of it! Lessons learned: need a heavier anchor; things do break and get in the way; need smaller rods! I get my live well next week, therefore, next time I go out is going to be offshore, if I ever overcome the corcern of the men in the grey suits!
